I generally avoid Apple products because of the price tag and the way they fought against the right-to-repair movement, etc., but I'd buy one just to use Procreate

Most of the party wouldn't try to implement necessary oversight because it would hamper profiteering, but there are (a rapidly decreasing number of) republicans that would actually care about the lack of oversight harming the poor/rural communities they are supposed to represent

I agree, but the devil's advocate in me has to point out that going to the tag office is far less of an ordeal than going to the DMV (In NC, at least). Correlation doesn't equal causality, but if the USPS was privatized with strict oversight to ensure that profit-seeking doesn't degrade service...
