Damn. Is it time to maybe hang some evil eyes / do some sort of an incense burning ritual? I actually once went around ringing bells in every corner of a previous property which I was convinced had bad vibes. It worked - things stopped breaking and falling off (temporarily)!

We will be announcing the results of the open call for new works for toy piano + early music instruments for Sonorities Belfast soon! Thanks to everyone who submitted pieces. Really looking forward to this spring - running since 1981, Sonorities is the oldest biennial new music festival in Ireland.

What a treat (can I say that?) to rediscover the original ALIEN (1978) on the big screen - the young Sigourney Weaver at her best, slow and stark, absolute benchmark for sci-fi noir / horror, dream-like detail in stage and sound design, and of course the gloriously gory Chestbuster!
