I thought it was a nice touch that the 2016 reboot reused the planet colonization theme melody from the first game. Sadly, the game was too buggy on my end. Laura Barratt’s soundtrack for MOO2 added something truly special that tied the whole experience together in a way that’s very hard to surpass.

Same here! I still revisit them regularly. But MOO3 and the 2016 reboot never resonated with me like parts I and II did.
