nah I disagree because you can tell the difference between them trying with the visual design and UI before hand and now they just let everything get enshittified, minimalism wouldn't be such a big problem tbh if they didn't let it be a catalyst for pure crunch

I can PROVE I would be (slightly happier with software in general) if frutiger aero was more common because I already know for a damn fact that whenever I return to old stuff like the 3ds and Wii U or stuff like it, it just makes me feel like there's purpose to the design.

The people asking for it to return are mostly people like me or slightly older who were around for it. The people who were asking for minimalism at the time were older than us. It's different people. There's probably millions of people very happy with current minimalism.

Nah I gotta disagree with you on this one, this is a goomba fallacy. I wasn't alive in the 60s and I was born in the early 2000s, the frutiger aero stuff of the 2000s and early 2010s is what I grew up with and I like it for the tactile nature it brought to software
