In extreme cold we get infant/toddler socks and use them underneath the dog boots. Stay warm! 🐩💕

Not every winter is super cold here, although -40°C is not uncommon. Our lowest recorded temp was −61.2°C. Highest was 44°C which isn't as extreme. A decade ago I lived in Sydney with my ex. I didn't manage to see Adelaide ☹️ It amazes me how similar Australians are to Canadians.

Our storm hit last night and is still going on. We should get a break this afternoon but it's due to return tomorrow morning.

We desensitized her at a young age with positive reinforcement. It only takes me 3 minutes to put them on (we timed it). You are right, they really do help with ice balls so we can enjoy walks more.
