Happy 17th Anniversary to The X-Files: I Want to Believe. The second #XFiles film premiered July 25, 2008. Raise a glass to the best-lit MSR kiss we ever got. And arguably one of the most beautiful scores of the series from Mark Snow. youtu.be/3eWlsxYdfF4?...

at X-Fest, I thanked Mark Snow for the music & told him I'd bid on a doodle he did of the XF theme for charity & that I'd wanted to get it tattooed. he pointed at the vinyl copy of the theme I'd brought him to sign & said "there's room there!" so that's how I got my XF theme tattoo.

In 2013, Mark Snow submitted this lovely note to our roundup for the fans of #TheXFiles and it feels so poignant to read today. "My love for you will never die, even after I'm gone. I know I'll be hearing the magic whistling rising upward!" www.xfiles.news/index.php/ne...

“The Surgery” is on my OR playlist. And I studied to The X-Files scores all through vet school. He was a legend and so lovely to talk to about everything from music to The X-Files to his dogs. Thanks for being the defining soundtrack in our lives. You will be missed, Mark.
