... while in the same sentence insisting that Technology is neutral, and can be used for both "goOd aNd eViL" ... no shit, doom-scrolling, surveillance capitalism, ads, or AI are dangerous to freedom and society. But Tech(nology) has never been neutral.

The only thing that saves most of them from this realization is their own ignorance, or total inability of self-reflection. When you've been told that your ADHD, or autism are part of why you're great at your job, or when you know that being OCD is a boon in Tech jobs, it's hard to hear this truth.
