The Eragon series is pretty good too for a young adult. I also like the Artemis Fowl series too.

I mean I certainly wasn’t as radicalized at that time in 2019-2020 as I am now. Which I’m sure is part of it. I just think there’s enough to fight off on the right that making people who voted in a primary differently than you seem like they’re dumb or bad people isn’t helpful.

For me personally, at the time, he seemed like a younger option than most and seemed like his ideas had a chance of being implemented if elected. I don’t know that I think that’s enough now if he were to try to keep the same stance for 2028.

The more people in a future democratic primary that are pro trans rights the easier it will be to shift the whole party further left. Especially a big name like Newsom. I don’t like the guy and hope he’s not the eventual nominee but I hope he is on a primary stage advocating for Trans rights.

Honestly it is really fun as a solo player. Sometimes being diplomatic fails but I have definitely had it be more success than failure in my ~40hrs of play time.

The real challenge will be how do the Dems respond when the GOP goes to remove the filibuster so they can pass unpopular bills like national abortion bans or other horrible shit. That one will matter how much of a fit they throw and how they fight back to not allow it.

Does it do anything though? The nominees get past the committee because they are GOP majority. Nominees also only need 51 votes or 50 with Vance. GOP have 53. So Dems could throw a fit. They can vote NO which appears to be true. The nominees still get approved. I am confused on the ask here I guess.
