I don’t understand this narrative of Elon Musk as some kind of genius. Shrewd business person, sure. But business success is mostly luck, and once you have had success it’s easy to keep going.

As a doctor and cancer researcher, I have to disclose if a pharmaceutical company buys me a lunch. My numbers can be looked up online by the public. Why are judges and lawmakers and unelected officials not required to disclose their massive conflicts of interest to the public?

What is the progressive vision for that the next iteration of America looks like? A part of that vision must be a single payer system.

We have laws in America. We have a moral and legal imperative to disobey unlawful orders.
