ARR final tier beast tribe quests are maybe the worst thing ever. I dont remember the moogles or namazu being this bad at least, but im trying to get them leveled now. surely i will not regret this.

you know I think haurchefant could have been a lot more interesting if they focused on the horny and the bastard part and less on the wol suddenly breaking down and willing to kill for haurchefant after his death. the Japanese dubbing with English localization is an awful experience

I think base HW is pretty mid. Post-HW is pretty decent, but I agree with an oomf that says most people conflate the two and call HW peak because they remember the canonical dragon vore and forget about basically everything else.

i'll be honest, going through FF14 in three weeks, my main thoughts are: wow FF16 is worse than I thought because everything it said it was bringing to the table, FF14 did on a larger scale. In a vacuum, Raubahn's story is gripping. In context with CBU3, the racism is kind of sickening

re: the character for riku leading to blue/green in Vietnamese makes a lot of sense because well. Earth/land is green and blue. However, it's pretty funny that Riku's half of the gayblade is green and blue... as is the fucking gay flag.
