If you're interested in more Indian horror stuff (though not Indian American admittedly) I recommend a movie called Tumbbad, very striking visuals and a unique plot. There's also a stoner comedy zombie movie from India called Go Goa Gone which was very funny.

That one was very specifically made by an Indian-American director, using Indian mythology and inspired by the director's childhood as an immigrant kid watching American horror movies. It was a very interesting perspective.
