Personally I have some concerns about having too much patience for how short life is. Time's a wasting, I guess.

According to Wikipedia, Luna has a bunch of games from EGS already, so I guess the question might be why it's getting Alan Wake II as late as it is. I don't think I'd get my hopes up, if I'm understanding the situation correctly.

I actually posted about this the other day, but I wish I had 1/10th the confidence and assertiveness of a cat who thinks it’s dinner time when it’s not.

This is kind of why I hate politics. No one's willing to admit any weaknesses or uncertainties about what they're advocating for, sometimes (or usually?) even if there's overwhelming evidence against them. People vote for that, so I'm kind of not fond of people in every way either.

Getting high with the math, eh?

Which half is dead though? 👀

Matches my so far limited experience perfectly. Using AI is also more of less disruptive to any flow you have going on.

This is just evil.

If precomputing the range for each piecewise function is feasible, you can probably 'somehow' map each y to a function, and from there getting your x should be easy. If not, well, I don't know how you could do this in O(1).

Yes, I'm sure that's what you're emphasizing.

He might also want it for natural resources. Curiously it seems like the main reason is simply that he wants it for his ego though. I think he realizes he's getting old and is concerned about his legacy, which he thinks will be improved by expanding the US.

Yay!

Turn-based? That's unexpected, but I'm definitely interested.

They recently improved comment threads by making (shallow?) trees possible, but if the thread is long, you can collapse it until you've expanded it fully (I think?), so all in all ±0?

I haven't had that yet, but sounds like YouTube alright. The last change on YouTube I've liked without reservation is when they reverted the horrible new UI. The last actual change I've liked is, I think, when they introduced comment threads a million years ago. Nothing else has been good.

I'm jealous every time I see your gorgeous rack... and I'm not sure if I'm more so because of the rack itself or you having the space for it.

Shall we discuss the radian next? :)

Following you always seems to be a ride. It's just a question of what kind of a ride it is.

...This might have been my example for too long movies. Even after watching just one LotR movie, I'm glad it's over, because I feel fatigued from watching it despite enjoying it a lot. Then again, movies aren't my go-to medium, so perhaps my tolerance for them is lower.

I also like GOG and achievements (not a huge achievement hunter though), but GOG Galaxy isn't available on Linux, and I don't think there's any way to get achievements for GOG besides Galaxy. This isn't going to be a blocker if Windows gets bad enough, but it's an additional annoyance for sure.

I think I'm fairly well aware of the current situation. Anticheat isn't much of a problem for me, because I don't play online a lot. However, I've checked ProtonDB, and it seems that some of the games I care about might have issues.

As a gamer, I still find it somewhat uncomfortable to do, but I just might when switching to Windows 12 would be effectively forced upon me. For non-gaming needs, switching to Linux (i.e. my laptop, at work) has been easier.

I'm contemplating creating a reminder for myself to reply to this in a few years. If there was ever a post do to this for, it's this one.
