Overall though, I still really enjoyed Markiplier's "Iron Lung" movie. It's a good adaptation of the original game with the same name by David Szymanski while also adding in new pieces of lore.

If you have the time and money to watch it, I highly recommend it. It's a bloody good time.

I have seen other people take note of how they've had trouble understanding and hearing what was being said during certain points in the film, too, though.

I'm not sure if it was poor audio mixing in the movie itself or just my theater's lack of a good sound system, but it was really difficult to hear some of the characters, sometimes during crucial points in the film.

Another issue I had with the film is that at times, it was difficult to hear what certain characters were saying and I couldn't make out what was being said.

I get that the movie is very dark intentionally, but I feel like at very specific points, you can't really tell what's happening or what Simon is doing because it's way too dark.

Markiplier's acting in this movie is good, too. I feel like he could've done better at certain points, but he does VERY well in the film.

As for the flaws that I had with the movie, there are certain points in it where I couldn't tell what was happening because it was way too dark.

The characters, costumes, and makeup work are all VERY good, with some of the makeup work actually making my skin crawl towards the end of the film.

The characters in the movie are good as well, with Markiplier's character, Simon, being the one we spend the entire film with.

Iron Lung is a dreadful, horrifying slow burn with a hopeless, post-apocalyptic setting, great visual effects all done by Markiplier himself in his own bathroom, mind you, with great use of practical effects, and so much blood that it makes Evil Dead jealous.

Also, in case you're wondering why I crossed out something on my ticket, it's because the person at the concession stand gave us a ticket to the wrong damn movie even though we said we wanted to watch Iron Lung, so I crossed out the name of the movie and wrote "IRON LUNG" in chicken scratch.

... "Zolota Volkov"

Or something like that.

Ah, interesting! I'd love to see how that would've looked!

Hmm... I've always liked Ellie's hair as it is, honestly, but if I had to make a suggestion, how about something... longer and more flowing? Like this, for example.
