I’m sorry to hear this. One of my other concerns about Substack is the way that it channels all interaction (comments, video, payment) into its funnel, creating a sort of a vertical and horizontal information monopoly. I don’t think it will be good if this one org controls so much.

the scope of the challenge is enormous, but I believe you can rise to it! for example, it seems like medlar & quince jelly would be a good addition to every dish on your week's planned menu...heck, I would think you'd have a ramekin out 24/7 as a daily condiment like salt

Gotta say, a product name like “MindClip” seems like truth in advertising. I’m sure they were reaching for connotations of <checks dictionary> cutting a mind to make it smaller or killing a mind by gunfire…

So one could argue for moving the UK public broadcasting tax into general taxation. As long as we are moving things around, I would like to move the US military budget out of general taxation into a pay-per-use model...or maybe we could each just buy security services from mercenaries...
