I remember friends telling me how they used to protest in South African anti-apartheid demos when protests were banned. Lots of clever ways of making a fool of an autocratic government.

If they ban specific phrases it will surely be easy to subvert - change a verb or add some words? Might be useful to get some legal advice on how to make a mockery of this nonsense.

he'd do. He's been longing to outlaw protests - well, at least those that might be perceived as left-tinged (climate, anti-Netanyahu). The opposition will support him. The only hope is that they'll be struck down by the NSW Supreme Court.

She's a shocker. Just watched her at estimates running her culture war against the ABC as did Jacinta Price. Boring, predictable, tedious. And she got at least one of her smart arse questions wrong (the only one I fact checked).

This and her stance on Epstein suggests that she's consciously forging a more independent path and seeking to strengthen her MAGA credentials. Certainly worth keeping an eye on what she does next.
