On 13 May, rebels joined the May Day rally in Glasgow, marching with unions and others to Glasgow University. Hundreds turned out in a vibrant show of solidarity, with singing, chanting and dancing through the streets. ✊🏻 #ExtinctionRebellion

At COB25, XR Glasgow called out greenwashing and Barclays’ sponsorship, despite their funding of fossil fuels, arms, and deforestation. Protestors shared the real facts. Many delegates listened 💚

Insurers profit by aiding corp greed, climate destruction & imperialism. Exploitative industries rely on them to operate. For Palestinian liberation, climate & migrant justice, we must push insurers. @insuranceboycott.bsky.social targets those funding genocide, fossil fuels, arms & border detention.

This month XR Glasgow's #GuerillaGardening group took to the streets to plant a range of native Scottish trees. The rebels planted saplings in both fine soil & challenging rocky ground. They’ll have planted approx 400 trees around the city by the end of this winter 🌲

In December, XR Santa & elves visited Howden in Partick to highlight how flooding in Tenbury Wells has left residents unable to afford or access insurance. While ordinary people suffer, Howden finances fossil fuels. Call on David Howden to stop funding climate destruction.
