One of the downsides of being an ABBA fan is that I occasionally get their songs as earworms. In and of itself, that isn't so bad.

But don't be too surprised if you hear me singing "Gimme, gimme, gimme a man after midnight" out loud. There's only one known way to rid yourself of earworms...

We should assume that every redaction says "Donald Trump" and every omitted photo is of Donald gently caressing one of the barley clothed victim children.

There's no other reason to have them redacted.

Bill Clinton is going to be less of a distraction than Trump thinks he will be, but ultimately that's not his play.

Trump is hoping that normalizing presidential perversion will allow him to avoid repercussions for his bad decisions.

I posit that observations don't cause quantum superpositions to collapse, the observation is just limited to the state of one position.

Which means there's a better universe out there and we just need to find a way to switch to observing that one.

Dark clouds: Auburn and the Green River Valley are flooding and being evacuated.

Silver lining: Maybe some of the missing murder victim bodies will be unearthed?

Sure, Robert (Wagner). You say Natalie Wood will be "forever missed" but you didn't miss just that one time, did you.

Spouse killer.

The real win in AI is not in large language models or image/video generation. If you're betting on any of those, find a better bet. The long AI play is in identifying options, inferring, and drafting and executing a plan.

Purely my opinion:

Is there an AI bubble?
Hell yes!

Is there any substance to AI behind the bubble?
Also hell yes!

Does GOOG have AI substance?
More than any other organization.

Will GOOG take a hit when the bubble pops?
Of course! It's in the bubble, too. But it'll eventually surpass Nvidia.

It seems like Trump is trying to blackmail the Democrats by threatening an investigation into Clinton's relationship with Epstein.

Most of America _wants_ this, because _any_ politician that was fucking around with minors needs to be tried and convicted.

What Trump doesn't seem to understand is...

News today of a boy who made a deepfake porn image of a 13 year old girl in his class.

She hits him.

She gets expelled. Seems about right, we can't abide vigilante justice.

Here's how this should have worked.

She tells the school staff.
They knock the shit out of him.

Oligarchis mortem infer. Tyrannos interfice.
November 11, 2025 at 5:25 PM
Fucked by old school Democrats caving to GOP demands again.

Rise, Democratic Socialists, so I never have to vote for another Democrat either. They're not as bad as Republicans, but they're pretty pathetic.

A G20 summit without the U.S. sounds like a great opportunity for the other top economies of the world to discuss how to solve the "U.S. problem".

The underlying problem is the undue weight and influence that one nation has on the rest of the world.

Rip off the bandage. Boycott America!

There's a rumor that masses of hungry people prefer to use a guillotine over any other means of deposing the wealthy elite that keep the people hungry.

Starving people don't have that much left to lose.

Tick tock. Tick tock.

Chin up, Gregory Lairmore. Sometimes life is hard and we can have big feels.

I promise you it gets better.

Some days you're the hero. Some days you take a hero to the chest.

Okay, I'm taking a little poll amongst my few readers.

Nancy Pelosi is apparently retiring from Congress. In what year do you think Nancy Pelosi _should have_ resigned?

I'm thinking 2020, the term after we saw a refreshing crew of new Congress critters.

And now that Trump sees that progressives have teeth and are actually capable of overthrowing him, his voter suppression and ballot rigging for 2026 must begin.
November 5, 2025 at 2:34 PM
I define "conservative" to mean "desiring to uphold the values and traditions of our past, and to honor our legacy".

The Republicans are generally conservative.

And so are the Democrats.

Progressives are for change, flexibility, adaptation, and trying new remedies. We're different from Democrats!

Rest in peace, Dick Cheney. Normally I wouldn't even mention your passing, but it's notable that as vile as I think your intentions were, you're still the lesser of two evils when compared against the current schmucks.

Conspiracy theory: Paramount renewed Jon Stewart's contract in part to keep him from leaning in to the persistent requests that he run for president.

"We're only going to use facial recognition to track non-citizens."

"How do you know that they're non-citizens."

"By allowing our facial recognition system to also recognize the citizens."

Fun fact: if Trump leaves just one of the original walls of his house standing during the reconstruction, he doesn't need to get a new permit!

Yes, Republicans. The "No Kings" rally was _all Antifa_!

The problem is, Antifa isn't at all a terrorist organization. It's an organization of people who care about America even more than you do, who want freedom for everyone and want it to become great.
October 20, 2025 at 2:34 AM
Today has a higher risk than most of being the first day of civilian violence in the second American Civil War. It could come in the form of someone taking out their desire for vengeance for Charlie Kirk's murder on a No Kings rally.

And yet we persist. Please protest safely people!

Bondi has labeled antifa as being no different from MS-13, but what else would you expect from a person who represents a political party that's no different from Nazis?
