I've said this before but as much as I agree with it, there's no easy way for this job to be earned democratically, and then you have to answer if their job is to communicate or do they set party policy. And is this a job where you fall back when the presidential primary starts?

These businesses are perfectly fine selling you a product that you buy then complain about being too expensive the whole time you use it, as long as they keep selling them and customers keep coming back.

Honestly Pelosi wasn't any better in that respect, but the job isn't crafting campaigns for purple districts but convincing SF/NYC billionaires and millionaires to donate to the party and fund campaigns.
