I saw more of San Diego county that my husband (born and raised in SD) ever did.
I Googled "east bay century training rides 2026" and saw a bunch.
I highly suggest it as a way to prep for your Climate ride.

I started biking at age 49 and 2 years later earned my California Triple Crown jersey (3 x 200 mile rides in year)!
Right when I started biking I signed up for a "Century Training Ride".
My local Trek stores ran a 12 week program of rides every Saturday with increasing distance each week.

Maybe if PBS didn't keep giving air time to people like David Brooks, who should have left the scene a LONG time ago, folks would be willing to toss you some financial support.
Or if PBS hadn't taken such a turn to trying to sound Rightwing (and often Lie) friendly - again, perhaps more $$$...
