Sometimes it feels like I’m not even improving with my drawing process. I struggle to draw the same things I’ve been drawing the whole time and it takes me so long to draw certain things. I keep running into the same problems when I think I should’ve learned something by now 😔

Just got back home from my trip. Gonna rest a day or two then get back to drawing…then I have more college classes in a week 😔

I had a dream with Mari in it…now I wanna draw her again, but I’m mid drawing already. So I will prolly do a private writing about her.

My tablet having only 64GB of space is killing me😭
The tablet I used previously was way better, but it broke so I’m using a not so good one right now till I can afford a new one. (Not anytime soon… 🥲)

I got an idea of what I wanna draw next. So I shall get to work on that tonight!

As to who to draw next…hmmm. Maybe Kanoe? I’m not sure.

I had a pretty big slump in December so maybe I should also take a day off from drawing so I don’t get into another slump…

I wanna improve on the face for my next art. Her face looks a bit flat and out of proportion for my most recent drawing.

I saw a background style I really like from another artist, so I may give that a try as well

My final art of the first year of drawing for me. Comparing my first and last one I drew, it is obviously better. But there are still a ton of things I don’t like and have to improve on. I only hope that I get better and don’t stagnate with my growth…

Not too far off from completing my last art of the year…but I’ve had a headache all day long that hasn’t gone away. Im powering through it so I can finish before New year’s

Hopefully I can get the art done by tomorrow night. Its not even close to New Years for me at that time, but it is for people in JP timezone. It’s almost done, but just gotta do the coloring for the clothing and maybe background if enough time

I’m already liking Bluesky already. Smaller audience overall, but I’ve seen some artists here that the Twitter (X) algorithm would never have shown me before. It feels like a lot closer knit community here ❤️. Itll take me a couple years, but I hope by learning Japanese I can also go JP SNS.

This kinda marks my first year into drawing. My goal for next year is to not constantly pause drawing when I get overwhelmed. The canvas times for my art aren’t super long, but I often pause because I get scared. So if I can stop doing that, maybe I can draw more often and not take weeks 🥺
