17. “No.1- the 2nd Album”(2002) by BoA:
This album is a K-pop classic for a reason . I mean: come on now. “My Sweetie” is so good. AS EXPECTED OF BOA. Rating: 90/100.

16. “Ready to Be- the 12th mini album”(2023):
Absolutely loved this album. Oh “Moonlight Sunrise” the absolute masterpiece you are. What a great start to Twice’s 2nd chapter as a group.
Rating: 100/100

15. “BABYMONS7ER-the first mini album”(2024) by BabyMonster; OK, YG’s known for big things come in small packages. I wanted more from this but this is good as a debut mini. Rating: 60/100.

14. “Maxident-the 7th mini album” (2022) by Stray Kids: As expected of my SKZ. Case 143 the queen you are. Incredible album! Rating 100/100.

13. “VIXX 2016 CONCEPTION KER SPECIAL PACKAGE”(2016) by VIXX:
I really have no words. One of my top 3 favorite trilogies in K-pop. I’ve heard all 3 title tracks on their own through the mini albums, but hearing the full album in full brought out my inner theater kid. Bless ya VIXX. Rating: 100/100.

12. “The Reve Festival Day 2” by Red Velvet{2019}; The Reve Festival remains my favorite trilogy in all of K-pop and the second mini of the series is a clear reason why. As expected of my Reve girls! Rating;100/100.

11. “Dye- the 11th Mini Album” by Got7{2020]; What a great album to listen to as it’s their anniversary as a group this month. “Trust My Love is absolute banger of a song. Rating; 80/100

10. “Friend- The final album” by S.E.S {2002}; Finally. The first 1st gen album of this set. “Friend” made me cry. I love a good ballad. As expected of the OG queens of K-pop. Rating; 90/100.

9. “SAD SONG-the 7th mini album” by P1Harmony[2024}; Ugh my Piwon. 2024 will be forever known as the year I finally fell under P1Harmony’s spell and in part to “Sad Song” that I finally became a fan of them. What an absolute banger of an album! Rating; 100/100.

8. “Seventeen Best Album: 17 is Right Here”: More boy groups should do compilation albums right before they enlist.
Seventeen absolutely slayed this album.
Rating: 100/100.

7. “Treasure EP 1: All to Zero”(2018):
Hard to believe that Ateez debuted 7 years ago this year. What a strong debut mini album from a group who literally went from scrappy pirates to Billboard Hot 100 kings. Rating: 80/100.

6. “As You Wish-The 7th Mini Album” by WJSN(2019): Holy moly. This is making me miss SuperStar Starship a lot.
“Lights Up” reminds me a lot of what IU sings.
“As you Wish” is a New Year’s Day banger.
Loved this album. Rating: 70/100.

5. “Sweet Girl- The 6th Mini Album” by B1A4(2015) B1A4 is a group that I hold dear to my heart because they were the first group that I listened to and followed as a causal listener of K-pop in 2013.
Perfect mini album. Rating: 80/100.

4. “Feel Special- The 8th mini album” by Twice{2019}; Classic. Like come on now. This is one of my favorite Twice albums in recent years. If you need a pick me up, play this mini album. Rating; 100/100.

3. “Born to be xx”- the 2nd mini album” by KissofLife (2023): Hello female empowerment. Not bad for a one year rookie. My goodness: like Nobody Knows was just Y2K gold, Says it reminds me of those early 2000’s films. Gentleman made me feel empowered.
Rating: 90/100.

2. “I Wanna Be- the first album repackage by Key (2019): I actually remember when this came out but I couldn’t listen to it because I was too busy with school so this was my first time actually listening to the album post Key’s enlistment and I actually really loved it. Rating: 80/100

1. “Error- the 2nd mini album” by VIXX (2014):
Not a bad mini album from a group that would go on to become Concept-idols and legends in their own right. Would’ve loved a little bit more but that was awesome. Rating: 60/100
