Not even sure why I bother sometimes. Almost 4 years waiting for KR Models' Leader, and faced with a mess in the post today... A dodgy handrail, snapped off details, broken packaging, and a first for a OO gauge mishap, the bogies weren't aligned!

...because it's my job, the last few months have been crazy, so the last thing I wanna do is sit down and keep playing right now 😅 But who knows, maybe 2025 will be when I find the time, and also the courage, it's been so long, starting again is scary. I also wanna experiment with other video ideas

Remember folks, in life, don't let others ruin things for you. Time is limited in this messy world and it can't hurt to have some fun now and then. Be proud of you are, what you enjoy and what you achieve, those experiences don't need to be validated by others if they're constantly unapproving.

And now today; the fleet is going through an interior refresh, the peeling 10th anniversary decals are probably in need of replacement, and while there's been some hiccups along the way (with 008 damaged for the 2nd time!) it's been a wonderful 15 years of Javelin service - here's to the future!

Resonating with me in more ways than one. When I first heard a 395 was going to be getting a trainbow livery, I jumped at the chance to see it, spent all day at St Pancras taking photos of it & it lights up my day if I happen catch a glimpse while out and about. Also glad we managed to do it in-game

Commuting on them every day before the world changed, I got to notice the differences between each member of the class; 015s patchy coloured nose for a few years, the lowest numbers had satin material inside instead of matte, and 024 showing some white undercoat, they're all special

As well as travelling on them over the past 15 years, I've owned Hornby models of the 395 since they first produced them, lost count of how many times I used to watch the pre-production sample videos. And of course, driving it since TS2014, and being involved in SEHS for TSW, it's a core part of me

I do like me an anniversary, and today makes me feel old - Southeastern Highspeed officially commenced on 13th Dec 2009, and I cannot understate how much of an impact the Class 395s and the service they provide have had on my life. I've loved it ever since the first thrill of travelling at 140mph 🚄

As 395028 crawls into Strood on a Ramsgate-bound service, I find myself in disbelief that 395008 ended up damaged again last night.. I still remember the day it hit a van in 2017. I hope it's able to be fully repaired in good time 😢🤞

It's a cold morning, but I much prefer that to it being boiling! As cool clouds cling to the top of the North Downs, it's nice to get some commuter vibes in with an express run to Strood - don't get to do it as often these days!

I've not really had much oomph to do anything today, although some model planes arrived 👀✈️ Maybe one day I should do something with my 1:400 collection... a compilation on here, a review series of videos, hell it could even be in ASMR 😅
