Ophelia and Dayton did get along at first. They enjoyed each other's company. However, Dayton started to grow cold and lash out at her over little things not long after her creation. It eventually got to where he removed her voice box for however long he wanted as a punishment.

Dayton made sure to not put any security protocols or codes in her system as for her to not end up in an aggressive state. Dayton however has the killcode from his old moon from when they separated. Instead of doing away with it, he kept it to use to his advantage.

As stated above, her sun who I decided to call "Dayton", created her after he ended up killing his moon due to the shockwave events across dimensions caused by Dark Sun. It took him a long time to complete her.
