i think she (naama lazimi) is the best politician rn in any of my countries or at least the one i feel is the most promising/is actually trying. and also if i could yell “netanyahu hope will prevail [for a peaceful & democratic state in spite of you]” at him like she did i’d be so happy and i’d heal

a few weeks ago at hebrew school i read them like three books about borscht bc why not we had them in the library and now these two spend every recess making me bowls (and wheelbarrows) of “borscht” so maybe leaned into the soup unit a little too hard

a similarity i’ve noticed between eastern europeans and israelis is the urge to throw a y in a place there doesn’t need to be a y when transliterating a name… case in point my nickname aly (עלי) though it comes from mixing up the letters of yael (יעל) so i do actually think my y is justified

thanksgiving commute has been upgraded from two hours on amtrak to eleven minutes on the red line which is objectively a win except the flow state of productivity i achieve on the northeast regional train is matched by nothing and i could really use that right now
