Back when I used Twitter, I’d post yearly totals on Joe things. I figured since I’ve moved over, I’d keep that going over here. In 2025, I caught 875 fish, 37 of which were new species for me, and 4 new subspecies. I ran 191 miles and hiked 269. Substantial time spent outdoors is never wasted

One of my favorite Caribbean species! Absolutely “tropical trout” as I target them with the same dry flies and nymphs that I use for trout, but in jungle streams rather than forest streams

I don’t hand this title out very lightly, but I may have caught my prettiest Longear Sunfish today. Gotta love the native fishes
