We are seeing a renewed Bunny Shaw. It's not just her game after coming back from injury. The passion she showed on the pitch for Manchester City against Arsenal was extraordinary. Her work rate was exemplary. She led the charge with her performances, her attitude, and her fervour. Goosebumps.

Corinne Diacre, who was sacked as France women’s national team manager in 2023 due to an “irreversible” rift with her players, has taken charge of Les Marseillaises. The recently promoted Première Ligue club—formerly Olympique de Marseille Féminin—is the current home of Jamaican forward Jody Brown.

20-year-old Solai Washington scored for Florida State in their 3-0 win against Miami. It was the Jamaican's second goal of the season. Washington represented Jamaica at the 2023 Women's World Cup at the age of 17.

Take a bow, Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw. What a performance for Manchester City today, scoring a goal and helping to set up the other two for a hard-fought win over Arsenal. She was as awesome in defence as she was in attack, always running back to help, and making key clearances at the back. Brilliant.

Also need to improve a few little things—a bad touch here, unforced misplaced pass there. If they could tighten up those things a bit, the difference could be a goal or two in their favour.

West Virginia University's Jamaican defender, Nyema Ingleton, who was recently named Big 12 Defender of the Week on Sept. 10, has been a rock for her team, starting all 10 games and logging a team-high 860 minutes—resting for only 40 minutes all season.

I just posted yesterday about Zoë Vidaurre (second from right) scoring in her last three games. Well make that four games, now. The Jamaican defender scored a brace from the penalty spot and an assist, taking her tally to five goals and two assists for George Mason University this season.

I've referred to IDV many times in the past as the greatest little team in the world for punching above their weight in Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana, and for producing and selling great players through their academy, like Moisés Caicedo. Thanks for this. I've been following Independiente Del Valle's men's team for a few years now and just recently decided to follow their women's team Dragonas but the domestic season just ended. But I see they're in the Libertadores and just tied with Corinthians today. Great result. I'll start here.

George Mason University is back in action tonight. Defender Zoë Vidaurre is going into this match on the back of scoring a goal in each of her last three consecutive games, as well as registering an assist. She's one of several Jamaican women performing well in US college soccer right now.

Jamaica's Natasha Thomas scored her maiden WSL 2 goal for newly promoted Ipswich Town Women in a 3-2 victory against Portsmouth—their first ever WSL 2 win. The 29-year-old's goal came in the 61st minute, levelling the score at 2-2 before her team went on to win it.
