Yankees. Bears. Knicks. Here to find some good sports content, mildly entertaining posts, and discuss the occasional political issue of the day.
Even if true now compare the losses vs the total gain in the value of my franchises. In no other investment do these guys ignore the wealth gained by the growth in the value of the asset.

The mistake is pushing a dinosaur into a race where you have an exciting new candidate. The Democrats continue to push the centrist candidates that inspire nobody instead of ones who do. Idiotic

Republicans continue to pander to their base while democrats continue to pander to the republican base. Make it make sense.

Is everyone that afraid to stand up to Trump? To put the 400Million in context Columbia has an endowment of 14.8 billion that earned 7.4% over the last 10 years and spent 5.2% last year. They COULD have absorbed the loss and not given up their dignity.

Social media is most people’s main source for news. That is a reality that makes moderating the content a necessity. The question really is what is more effective? A dedicated team whose purpose is to research and vet or the community? The answer is obviously.
January 10, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Social media platforms are the number one news source for most people and they are essentially washing their hands of any responsibility around the accuracy of that news. This is not good.
