As I mentioned in a previous post, the Nobel Committee has long been resistant to public pressure and public campaigning.

In fact, they are known to despise it.

So did President Trump, who had just been sworn-in 11 days before, get nominated by a qualified person prior to the deadline?

The answer is yes.

Two-page letter on official Case Western Reserve University School of Law letterhead, dated January 28, 2025, from Associate Professor Anat Alon-Beck to the Norwegian Nobel Committee. The letter formally nominates former U.S. President Donald J. Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, praising his “extraordinary leadership, strategic brilliance, and unparalleled commitment to advancing peace.” Alon-Beck cites Trump’s role in securing the release of hostages, brokering ceasefires, combating antisemitism, and achieving major diplomatic breakthroughs such as the Abraham Accords and the relocation of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. She credits him with strengthening Israel’s security, empowering Jewish communities, and promoting human dignity through “determined and principled diplomacy.” The letter concludes by urging the committee to award Trump the Nobel Peace Prize, asserting that his leadership “has not only changed lives—it has saved them.”

And yes I am well aware women get it harder than men, but the reports on her behavior goes far beyond what’s acceptable.
