NEW — Freedom Flotilla Coalition says there may soon be an attempt by Israel to intercept the Global Sumud Flotilla. Say radars show roughly 12 unidentified vessels, just 5-15 miles away.

Some flotilla boats seem to be losing connection, possibly experiencing signal jamming.

The original committee was co-founded by Henry Fonda in the 1940s, in response to the House un-American activities committee. The House committee, led by senator Joseph McCarthy, accused entertainment figures of being communist sympathizers, derailing many careers.
