Once shared a ride to Big Apple Comic Con in a car driven by Peter David. As I squeezed into the backseat Peter popped in a cassette of the soundtrack to Empire Strikes Back & said “Go strap yourselves in. I'm gonna make the jump to light speed” & proceeded to drive us through crazy midtown traffic.
