Every single movie produced this way will get a score of less than 4/10 on IMDB. I've seen a few things recently, mostly TV, that have turned a big streaming budget into an abomination.

Hi Jeremiah. You just described my first spec script to a T. After 3 years of continuous re-writes, I have not only become a much better writer, but the script is a QF in the recent Zero Gravity Action/Thriller comp. SF announcement this Friday.

Almost any idea can be turned into a viable feature by a good screenwriter. Just don't let the originator have any say in character development, plot pacing, dialogue, the opening or ending.
