From the UK
fully understanding the threat of Reform, or Trump for that matter. He won't give you a rounded view of the world on his own. And that's understandable because he is just one man, but what you have highlighted is something where he could make a simple change which would improve his content.

I find it hard to accuse him of bad faith on this given he recently attacked the BBC over it's coverage of trans people. That said, I think it is correct to get the message across to him that he should not omit them.

I like Owen but only listening to him leaves one hating Labour and not (1/2)

Main "pull factor" for UK is family ties. That doesn't change no matter how harsh your policies. It definitely isn't that the UK is "generous", France et al provide far higher levels of support. Not only that though, but most people seeking asylum don't know the laws in the country they seek it in.

A lot of people respond warmly as we march the streets for Palestine. But there was only confusion or mocking on offer today. After months of Hasbara that we don't care about other atrocities, and must highlight Israel only because we hate Jews, this is how people react.

Completely beyond why people try to defend Labour record on treatment of asylum seekers. They are awful.
They have done terrible things the Tories never even thought of, like denying any refugee who came here through irregular means from EVER becoming a citizen & ENDING FAMILY REUNIFICATION. demons.
