this movie was absolutely wild and i kinda loved it, had us cracking up one minute and at a complete loss for words at the batshit insane surreal horror the next, it managed to hit on some heavy topics while being absolutely ridiculous and i really dig it for that

60. 🎬 Corpse Bride (2005)
also watched this for halloween and it was pretty good, the story was a little odd and didn't really resonate to be honest but visually it's absolutely stunning, some of the wildest stop motion i've seen in a hot minute, absolutely gorgeous

58&59. 🎬 Scary Godmother 1&2 (2003&2005)
watched these with a bunch of friends as a halloween tradition and they were a ton of fun, just super charming for what they are and got so many laughs out of us, we love you skully you absolute gay icon

57. 🎵 Floralia - IV (2025)
i have such a soft spot for the absolute raw passion that goes into indie furry music and this is an amazing example of that, just one person with so much to say putting it out there through a gorgeous prog rock lens, just absolutely beautiful front to back

56. 🎵 Tame Impala - Currents (2015)
finally getting around to listening to tame impala and god i can absolutely see why this is such a classic, the vibes are absolutely immaculate and there's some seriously interesting experimental stuff going on along with all the beautiful psych rock, just so good

55. 🎬 Enter the Void (2009)
got to watch this with @stellathemoth.bsky.social a while ago and hoooly shit what a wild ride, i can honestly say it's up there with my favorite movies, just incredibly thought provoking with some absolutely stunning cinematography that had us amazed all the way through
