Those insulation vs SCOP numbers are surprising, but maybe I'm missing the point that they're all within 5% (bar passivhaus - less data to be meaningful?) so less of a factor...

Thing is, it's not "our green belt" is it. It's someone else's land.

It's so messed up. It is entirely foreseeable that driving over the speed limit is dangerous to yourself and others. To me, that's the same as intending to go out and kill.

Our heat pump was installed to be as efficient as possible. This week's 0 degree temperatures the house has been 20 inside, we've barely hit 50% of the calculated heat loss. 1920s semi. The standards for U values and air changes must be massively conservative.
