I just can't help but laugh when I imagine them in their coordinating outfits, grumpy and hungry on a church pew. Lestat openly pouting. Claudia a little annoyed. And Louis stressed the hell out that Claudia is going to gag on her communion again even though she only did that her first year 😂

Personally I think Louis drags them to a Christmas Eve service every year. He spends the whole month fussing over outfits that need to match but can't be TOO matchy, Clauds hair, ect. Les & Clauds HATE IT because they can't eat beforehand and they think it's stupid but put up with it all for Louis 🥰

If you are curious about them though I'd recommend listening to the audiobooks on YouTube. I know at least the first 3 are on there for free and they'd give you an idea if you'd like them or not

Not really? I've read the first 3 and the show does a very good job at explaining the characters motivations and their choices that it really isn't necessary to read them. They just add extra details. The books are also difficult to read both because of the R-content and the style they're written in
