I'm somewhere between software, hardware and art.

I speak:🇵🇹🇬🇧 a bit of 🇫🇷🇪🇸 and want to learn 🇩🇪🇳🇴
Interesting that most of the games that are made to get you addicted so that they can exploit you for all your time and money also use stupid kernel level anti-cheats to spy on you without even fixing the cheating problems

It also doesn't make sense that their exclusives are the most expensive games on the platform. Playstation for example atracked people for years by making their exclusives some of the cheapest games on their platform

I think that they would be more popular right now if they had invested in making more of their exclusive games for switch 1 instead of focusing on launching a switch 2 (which is more of a switch pro) that is mainly better at running games made by other people that are already on other platforms.

Yes, but the steam deck comparison falls apart when I have 10 years of games on steam, can buy games for a 5th or sometimes less than the price on Nintendo and as an engineer I can write code on my steam deck to control robots. Also why is every exclusive game 60€ for ever? Playstation sells for 10€

Why did they try to compete with the steam deck and the xbox ally? Nintendo was founded on using cheap hardware to keep costs low and using creativity to give it life, but this time they just decided to try to increase power and put a better screen and make it more expensive like every other company

did you call me?

I'm glad you did, I had to uninstall twitter, that place ain't healthy for anyone's mind. It's all bots or rage baiters trying to make money

This is truly revolutionary compared to lithium batteries. It charges faster, it lasts longer it uses cheaper materials that are more common and have less impact on the environment and it doesn't catch on fire if mishandled

How much time does something like this take?

Apple did make a bad choice when they decided to not support Vulkan to force everyone to use Metal. In the time of OpenGL it was easier to make games compatible with apple, but now the main API left for that is WebGPU and I'm not seeing many game engines wanting to use it

This is such a cool way to make a digital version of an old game

I'm not a football fan, but if I was I would definitely be scared of getting arrested because of my Portuguese accent even if I'm from Europe. Even Germany warned their citizens last year to not travel to the US because they couldn't guarantee they wouldn't be arrested for no reason

I like your name. Elephants are cool :)

Because the US is the country that spends the most money in watching sports, buying merchandise and placing bets, so FIFA wants to convert them to liking football to increase profits

They do deserve that, but Trump is not going to allow it. He's going to choose someone that serves the interest of the US at the cost of the citizens of Venezuela. They did try to vote on someone that wasn't Maduro and Trump said that that person is not fit to rule the country.

Does it work well for public transportation? The main reason I use google maps is because public transport in Portugal is a total chaos that never follows the schedule and google maps is the only that predicts when a bus is coming because it checks people that are inside of it in real time

I have a question that I don't usually hear about these devices but that I think it's important due to how portable they are.

How long does the battery last with a full charge?

Proton already made most windows games work perfectly on linux, now we're waiting for winboat to become good so that we can use the rest of the apps, I personally only use windows for the adobe apps

Even though many security specialists don't like ecosystems, if you want an ecosystem that is very similar to Google but better, you can start with proton.me. Then Firefox as the browser and duckduckgo as the search engine. The only Google apps I still use out of necessity are YouTube and Google Map
