Hard agree!

Honest to God....they cannot get their act together on the night it matters most.

The democrats have been "overestimated" before...and the republicans growing a spine? Don't count on it. A couple maybe, but when they tell you who they are, believe it.

Interesting that he doesn't (yet) have a seat in the Parliament but has been elected leader. How does that work?
March 11, 2025 at 9:50 AM
Love this...from this side of the world he comes across as a smart, class act.

Could not agree more. Distraction is the key. It's happening A LOT, even here in Aust. Get the dumb media focused on the crazy stuff over in the corner, while the major stories/issues are bubbling away under the surface. Unfortunately, many in the media just play along.

Maybe Karvelas could start at her own workplace. MSM some of the worst offenders in failing us.

Nightmares x 10... told this morning by (US) friend that it is completely batshit crazy over there at the moment. Cannot believe some of the stuff that the orange sponge is doing. People are scared and confused.

😊 I didn't see that...I just like something that works for me. I have the occasional cracked shell, but I think that's because I was impatient and the eggs were straight out of the fridge.

I've always been bad at boiling eggs the way I like them, so now I steam them. Usually five at a time in a saucepan with a steamer on top. Put in 500 ml water. Put lid on and steam for 9 & a half minutes. Then remove and plunge eggs into icy water to stop the cooking process. 😊

Yeah, I hear ya.
February 5, 2025 at 10:30 AM
Well, thank you. But then I guess we'd have no need to engage with anyone on here would we... thanks for that advice though. Always welcome.
February 5, 2025 at 4:04 AM
Well, we don't actually vote for a PM. The party elects a leader - same as Canada? - & we vote for candidates in electorates around country. It'd be nice if Parliamentary terms were fixed, prob at 4 years. That way it prevents the mindless media speculation about when an election will be called.

As we do In Australia, but the details about impeachment and the various stages of it, aren't widely known outside the US.
February 5, 2025 at 2:58 AM
I try not to...tbh, I can't think of anything off-hand, that I would buy from the US. Although I know some of the things I buy, that are made here, are owned by US companies. We can just try our best.
February 5, 2025 at 2:55 AM
Thank you. 😊
February 5, 2025 at 2:41 AM
We live in hope...meanwhile, they roll out Chuck Schumer to answer questions. 🙄
February 5, 2025 at 2:19 AM
OK, does conviction then result in mandatory removal? Educate me here...I'm not in USA
February 5, 2025 at 2:17 AM
Exactly. Look, I'm not an American, but even I know the basics. 😊
February 5, 2025 at 2:11 AM
IMPEACH?
He's been impeached and it did NOTHING!
Impeach just basically means charged with misconduct (or something similar). Democrats are flailing around the edges, appearing to scared to get right in and call the orange sponge out for what he really is.

Interesting. Doesn't have a benefactor, but lives with others who pay the rent. Has a phone but no "plan" so uses the household wi-fi paid for by someone else.
Doesn't believe in money? Well, she does, just not hers.
February 1, 2025 at 6:17 AM
4 and 11. All the bloody time ... 🙄😂
January 30, 2025 at 9:15 AM
That's true I guess...but not sure who your comment was aimed at. Who is hoping for a Dutton win?
