I don't know if anti-colonialism is really the word for what America was founded on, but certainly a respect for sovereignty could be a core tenet.

This is where I get the most frustrated. You get a lot of accounts from other countries throwing shade at all Americans for "letting this happen" when in fact I'm not seeing their countries taking a different playbook. We're just further down the road.
