I am honored to have joined the Board of Directors of Immigration Counseling Service (ICS), Oregon's oldest and only independent nonprofit immigration law firm. For over 40 years, ICS has been defending the rights of immigrants, and I am proud to be part of such an impactful organization.

This past week, I had the honor of attending three wonderful Lunar New Year celebrations to kick off the Year of the Snake. I joined the Vietnamese Community of Oregon, the Taiwanese Association of Greater Portland, and Tigard Police Department at Washington Square Mall for their special events.

As we face growing challenges like the bird flu outbreak, it's deeply troubling to see federal health agencies halting crucial communication, pausing funding for cancer and other vital medical research, and reversing progress on encouraging diversity in research subjects.

🌿🐾 Took a walk with Sandy today on a brand new section of the Fanno Creek Trail, and it was truly inspiring to see a vision come to life. I first voted to approve this project as a Planning Commissioner and later as a City Councilor. (1/3)
