I will actually wrap pills into cheese and then crush up greenies into a dust and roll the cheese in the dust and then that’s mostly acceptable

Most of my cats are sweet little fluffy purr machines I don’t know what you’re talking about. Ok sure one of them is scared of feet and another gets really angry if I breathe too much while she’s loafing on me but the others are normal I swear.

I had my first one earlier this year. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be l, but I was very very sore the next day. I think the day after for me personally was worse than the actual procedure.

It’s actually very good! There’s some weird propaganda they had to add in the first episode because Chinese censorship laws but the rest is fine

I was trying to think of something not western. Maybe Curse of the Golden Flower? It’s very opulent, very good over the top costuming, and since it’s set in the Forbidden City it has that decaying aristocracy vibe.

I’ll be fine, thank you!! I’m actually moving back with my parents. Not because of this (their health issues) but it definitely solidifies my decision. But wow…if the US continues like this, I’ll seriously consider moving to Taiwan.

Huge blow considering my state is in the top 3 of shelter euthanasia rates.
Recently another low cost clinic had to fire their vet. I don’t know the details except people said it was a long time coming. But a bunch of TNR folks lost their appointments because of it.

My area is having problems due to the shortage of qualified vets. At the end of 2023, the vet of our local low cost mobile spay/neuter retired and the organization spent 6mo trying to find a new vet. They weren’t able to find one and had to close after 23 years.

My former feral used to hold a paw up when I was about to feed her to slap me if I got too close for over a year. Now she tries to meld with my face and likes belly rubs.

The rescue I foster for recently upped their adoption fee to $150 for cats. Most vets here charge around $250-$300 for a spay. There’s some low cost clinics that will do for around $120. The rescue covers the rest of cost thru donations. Vet prices vary through the country so not surprised at $250+
