You've Killed Me Every Time: Fanzine
@ykmetzine.bsky.social
You've Killed Me Every Time is a for-charity, Pro-Fic Fanzine celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the first BTD game by Gatobob.
Please keep in mind this is also my first time running and publishing a zine. I don't want to take any extreme risks and end up having to run around and panic.
I want this to go as smoothly as possible, hence the rules.

Thank you for reading and I hope to see you apply!

My intention is to not have extremely sanitized rules, which is why I we allow light/moderate/heavy (w/ approval) gore and suggestive content in the rules -- it comes more from a place of printing limitations and the time I have to work with.

3. I have my own icks about extreme gore. Keyword EXTREME gore. That's the only limitation. Moderate gore is fine and if it ends up heavier than that it would need my approval.

2. Editing one version is already going to take me long enough hence the set period date range for that part of the zine. I have a job and other obligations I need to handle while also working on editing the zine. I don't want to promise a lot of things and fall behind.

for various reasons.

1. I would have to potentially separate a lot more content from both versions. One version would be lacking in content as people would, of course, feel more inclined to draw those topics. If the physical zine is lacking content, why would people order it?

I do not want to risk a company being vague about their rules, go to submit the zine, and be rejected. All that work for nothing.

An idea we were given was to make a separate version of the zine digitally to include extreme gore and NSFW. I am personally opposed to this--

Let's of course preface reasonings with an "I'm sorry" and "I know it's a fetish game..." The main reason for this rule is printing companies and their terms. I have found no printing companies with clear enough rules in terms of extreme gore and NSFW (especially together) --

In the meantime, express your interest in the zine, whether it be purchasing or contributing, on the google form.
