I’ve spent much of this fall organizing small business owners to join the fight against authoritarianism and for policies that will allow all of us to thrive (like affordable, accessible health care). Today I met with the co-owners of Mastel’s Health Foods, Alina and Lauren, about this effort.

I just filed with the Campaign Finance Board and am officially running in the special election to represent 64A in the Minnesota House! Conversations with friends and neighbors have convinced me that I can bring the bold, progressive leadership this district deserves to meet this moment.

Despite the attempted and successful political assassinations in Minnesota today, tens of thousands of us showed up to the No Kings protest in St Paul in Melissa Hortman and John Hoffman’s honor. #NoKings #mnleg
