A fairly weird parody of the classic House On Fire in Background as Young Girl looks back at the Camera With Sly Look meme; instead of a burning house we have a Tesla Swasticar dealership, and instead of the girl it’s a rockhopper penguin. Otherwise the shot it pretty much the same, What’s terrifying is how EASY it was to create this parody (because yes, this is 100% Yohannon’s fault). For one, rock hoppers always look like they’re up to something… or Scottish. Which may be the same thing. No meme text, because really, it doesn’t need it… but feel free to have fun. “Tell Elon… it was me” or “I’ve got your tariff’s right here”.

I hate those red badges on my phone icons. I know a lot of people don’t care how large the number gets, but it triggers my OCD something fierce.

So I decided to save it for my 62nd birthday. It could literally be nothing at all… maybe a “I’ll call you on another line”. But it could be the last time I hear her wish me a happy day. I will be recording the scene… I will either be in shock or a blubbering mess. Probably both. And I’ll cherish every moment (broken heart emoji)

Picture of Yohannon during his "what bald spot?" phase of denial, so please disregard that fuzz on top of his head. It also predates COVID by over a year, so he still has a mustache. He's looking up and to hi right to the tuxedo black and white cat making darn sure he's in charge, sitting on the back of the couch. Like the person he owns, Morgan has a little mustache on the right side of his nose that gave him a dapper look that only emphasizes his imperious (and decidedly smug) expression as he watches TV. He was incredibly bossy when he thought I was up too late. Sometimes when the insomnia is really bad (read: every other week or so) I swear I can still feel him bump my side to try to get me to go to bed. He was of very firm opinion that I should be in bed by 2AM so he could snuggle under the covers with me. I always suspect it's my odd tendency to be a human space heater despite my low core temps (usually 97.6F). though everyone told me that he adored me. Well, I knew that. Damn, I miss that cat more than anything, even 6 years later.

It's been a few years since I lost my kittehs to old age, but my recent surprise trip (6 hours notice?? I didn't even know they let you get on planes with that short a purchase window) to Tempe I was given the full "you are ours now" treatment by the true occupants of that apartment.
Two cats lie on a bed looking as smug as cats can get; in the foreground is the incredibly chatty Simon, a ginger striped cat with white markings. The background is Blackie, a predominantly void colored Tux looking askance at the photographer trapped underneath them both. You wouldn't be thinking of MOVING now, would you? Sunset January 1, 2025, the outskirts of Phoenix Arizona; Dessert mountains can be seen in the distance (I *think* it’s Camelback, but don’t quote me on that) lit in golden orange hues. The sky is clearly a little smoggy in large part due to the enormous number of fireworks set off the earlier in the day (circa midnight, of course). Assorted cars are on a freeway, the perspective of the camera is clearly the middle lane. Above we see a freeway sign, the kind that uses lots of little lights to create words; low resolution, but effective. It flashes road information, but at this moment it says: NEW YEAR NEW YOU USE YOUR BLINKER Note that all of the signs of this type I saw were flashing this message; I only wish they had enough space to add “YES, YOU TOO BMW DRIVERS”. Coincidentally, we were almost clipped by a driver in the Lowe’s parking lot because they didn’t use their blinker, so we didn’t realize they were turning left at the same time we were, which was a bit close for comfort. Yes, it was a BMW. What a shame that they have such bad quality control that it seems those blinkers never seem to work for those cars, isn’t it?

The Arizona plates are personalized and read: KVNTTY This MAY have been an unfortunate choice for someone named “Kevin Tyye”; I would be fascinated to know what all y’all’s guesses are, but when I first saw it while being driven behind it I asked Lilly what she thought (without either of us saying See You Next Thursday) and she agreed it sure AF reads like it’s intentionally filthy. I just realized, if you look closely enough you can make out the front end of the truck she inherited from her grandfather — the one he replaced the truck that indirectly brings me here to AZ in the first place. To;dr: brand new (as in under two weeks) tires with only a few 100 miles blew out, resulting in the truck flipping 7 times and somehow winding up wheels down. Lilly was in the back seat at the age of 6 (and remembers the whole thing), traumatized but unhurt. Her mom, Catt, wound up crushing her left foot, resulting in 13 years of agony, and produced clots that resulted in that leg being amputated… twice. Her grandfather not only survived, he stayed around another decade… despite breaking his neck in the crash, something which blows my mind as he made sure everybody else was taken care of before letting himself be checked. As in the tough S.O.B. was walking around immediately afterwards. We never got along, but I always respected him, even before that. Anyway, WTAF Arizona D.O.T?

There used to be a store in Berkeley California, Annapurna I believe, that used to have this amazing Ganesha statue in this pose that was even more "come hither, sexy thang!" than this statue; it's a brass colored resin statue with the Hindu God of Technology and the Remover of Obstacles lying on their side on a pallet of cushions with his head resting on one arm, the other along his rotund side. He's barely wearing enough to cover his enormous member (his moos hand pendulously between his trunk), and is being attended to by Vahana Mouse. See, if this guy suddenly appeared before me I would be agog mostly from his sheer hotness... and I've been hanging out with too many furries over the years to be bothered by the whole Elephant's Head thing. Not to mention the possibilities of that trunk... oh my. But then, I do have him tattooed to my right arm, so I'm biased as hell. "Know what? Ganesha butt." A lovely full color wood carved statue of Ganesh sitting on a bed with a cushion, leaning to one side, from behind. Oh yeah, that god's got back. Drool. So the two depictions I found only gave him two arms, but typically he's got 6. Plus a prehensile trunk. That's seven appendages to work with, and I'm there for it. Elephant's also have a prehensile penis (yes, really!), but if you know the lore only his head was that of an elephant. Of course, being a god means it's likely whatever form of male member he wants, but I'm not greedy. Just a fat admirer.
