The game vs spurs where Taylor got everything wrong, spurs offside goal, Cucarella hairpull, etc and Dean, on VAR, didn't want to hurt his feelings so ignored it all.

He started a couple of league games. Hooked at halftime in a 1-0 away loss to Swansea and that was the last we saw of him.

By saying it isn't a meritocracy you're implying we have better options than Sanchez. I agree that he isn't as good as Courtois or Cech were but he's definitely the best we have right now.

Sanchez isnt great but he's nowhere the worst keeper we've ever had.
