Perfect time for a fall cocktail. Made a caramel apple old fashioned.
2 1/2 oz bourbon
3 dashes of toasted almond bitters
1 oz caramel sauce
1/2 oz apple cider syrup (just an apple cider reduction, 4 cups down to 1)
Shake well. Garnish with an apple slice. Mine is a spiced rum soaked apple slice.

God I love it when you have a local mom and pop shop and they recognize you and hook you up with deals. Just had my local liquor store guy hook me up with my usual whiskey but for just over half the cost. 💸💵

Say Nothing by Patrick Radden Keefe
Goddamn this book was great. Despite it being about true history it reads like a novel and is a nailbiter all the way through. And devastatingly tragic. Probably going to be my fav from the whole year.
