I didn’t count 5 cubes that were color restricted or had some gimmick where color didn’t matter so the colors are all out of 39 drafts

Basically just ran it back with RW heroic in the Bloomburrow set cube. I really love this archetype and from a P1P1 Emberheart Challenger I was hard forcing it. Didn’t win a lot of games but went down swinging and had a ton of fun doing it!

4 color CoCo soup in my cube! Mystic Sanctuary loops and blinking E-Wit led to casting CoCo 4 times in one game lol.
2-1 in matches and won an exhibition game as well. Couldn’t get past a hard control player but even that felt very close.

40th cube draft of the year! Jeskai aggro in a Bloomburrow set cube. I felt like I had some pretty strong plays in here but never was able to actually get through with it. Lots of matching things out and the math never ended up good for me lol. No wins tonight but I loved this deck all the way down!

Draft went sideways in the Golden Synergy Cube, still got some wins with this weird temur deck. Best thing I did was sneak attack Thragtusk and Crystal Shard it back each turn. Grove and Punishing Fire is always fun. Didn’t ever cast Kaldra but I was looking for adds :P

Draft went sideways in the Golden Synergy Cube, still got some wins with this weird temur deck. Best thing I did was sneak attack Thragtusk and Crystal Shard it back each turn. Grove and Punishing Fire is always fun. Didn’t ever cast Kaldra but I was looking for adds :P

When things were hitting right it was nuts, but there were just as many times where I was just spinning my wheels hoping to draw a payoff. I think a few more big ramp threats would have done well for me.

38th cube draft of the year! Bant Landfall in the Clean Cube.

37th Cube draft of the year, tried to do Upheaval and Wildfire in a vintage cube, emphasis on tried lol!
I took out the three big boys at the bottom and put in banisher priest and some other stuff.
Went 1-2, didn’t end up Upheavaling or Wildfiring, ever win was from Geist.
Had a great night! :)

36th cube draft of the year! Gruul Uro in my primary cube. The aggro was strong here, land creatures are great, and Rabbit Battery giving everything haste was huge, but anything bigger than 4 toughness provided a big challenge. Ended up 2-2 in matches. Love this cube!

34th cube draft of the year was a rotisserie draft between 5 players for a fun cabin weekend (one couldn’t make it rip). I drafted this UR spells deck from my friend’s Clean Cube. Matoya synergies were off the charts and Burn Bright was the MVP.

“First Hand” is a desert environment where you can sculpt your opening hand.
I put together this Rograkh Hardened scales loop backed up by a lot of removal in the deck. Didn’t win a single game all night but had a blast! Can’t wait to try this one again.

We drafted with 3 people and I won the multiplayer game. Tons of fun.

29th Cube draft of the year was another Stone Soup! Started on lightning bolt and got another and lightning helix very quickly. Went 6-3 in games, mostly off the back of Restless Bivouac, that card is the MVP of MVPs.

Grixis control, still figuring out the right density of card advantage to removal but this felt like it was getting there. A lot of games came down to whether or not I drew Fiery Cannonade. Sweepers are good in control decks apparently!

I am the 1-2 master! Izzy control in The Citadel grixis desert cube. I rose from the tides and beacon bolted a lot. Couldn’t pull through but had tons of fun. This cube is exactly my jam!

24th cube draft of the year at INW CubeFest. Playing the Antiquarian Peasant cube. Gruul ago did well. 1-2 but a lot of very close matches. This is my element. Tomorrow’s records will be worse lol.
