Ahh yes Godot has loads of convenient little things like these!! I believe you can also have Control nodes in 3D space but I've never tried it.

I don't remember, but I believe it's a Label3D that's a child of the Rigidbody with billboard enabled, and I just update its position to always be above the dice, using code
