We're hosting a series of York-Maastricht Matchmaking events this October (16, 22, 28) to connect researchers working on all aspects of Robotics & AI. YMP funding to support new links.

We're having fun learning about space robots, robots for education, and firefighting drones at the WUN York-Maastricht Robotic Doctoral Summer School this week! We have attendees from 8 universities across the UK, NL, Australia, Brazil, and Italy, plus academics from Maastricht and York.

Delighted to hear that UM’s Prof. Dr. Nancy Bocken has been recognised for her work on circular business models by being ranked among the Best Business & Management Scientists in the NL! Nancy was instrumental in setting up the YMP education collaboration in sustainable business. Well deserved!

Delighted to welcome York-Maastricht dual degree students to York's Department of Environment and Geography this week. They have spent the autumn semester at the UM's Maastricht Sustainability Institute, and moved to York for the spring semester. We hope they thoroughly enjoy their time in York!

We thoroughly enjoyed hosting a group of Maastricht University research staff in York this week, to meet their counterparts and think about ways to work together to drive forward our joint research projects. A campus tour and meeting the ducks were included of course!

Really enjoyed hosting Maastricht’s President and Rector, Profs. Letschert and Habibović in York last week. It was great to discuss our collaboration and explore new opportunities in lots of areas – including bioeconomy, robotics, immersive tech, and others. Looking forward to seeing these develop!
