Dr Richard Grayson is working with colleagues to better understand the impacts of farming on the environment, & vice versa, through facilities at our Research Farm.

2/2 However, as many of the flood groups are often run by volunteers, they can face significant challenges and need more State support.

Findings in this paper link nicely with the very recent UK Parliamentary report on Flood Resilience which has a strong focus on supporting Flood Groups as well.

Professor Carver collaborated with local communities to map wilderness and wild land around the world and inform conservation policy, including the new guidelines.

In 2024, he was awarded an Impact and Engagement Award for this thorough, impactful work.
