In August a group of organizations in Yorkton dealing with food security received a donation of 15 tons of potatoes from Second Harvest. All gone in two weeks. This is about that, and the recently formed food security committee who took on the challenge.

Kris Grunert, born and raised on a farm a few miles out of Yorkton, is an award-winning photographer. We talk about his commercial work for many large international corporations, as well as his personal photographic art. How he got into photography is a story in itself.

Our new podcast is about Hamton, a village north of Yorkton, SK Canada. After it was largely abandoned 40 years ago, the buildings stood, until on a Sunday morning in May of 2018, they all burned down. At www.yorktonstories.ca and all podcast directories. Search for Yorkton Stories.
